What Are You Looking For In Your Ad?

Creating a TV commercial (or radio advertisement) is a lot of fun, but also take a lot of work on a business owner’s part. To begin, you’ll need to come up with a great strategy or campaign. Then, toss in budgeting, scripting, talent selection, the hiring of a video crew (or audio crew), and possibly even needing to throw a clever jingle into the mix. After all of the work you put into your commercial you, as a business owner, are quite proud of your handy work. In fact, you possibly may have surprised yourself and even wondered if maybe you could do this for a living…

And then…your ad runs.

Now, here’s the determining factor that comes into play as a business owner – how are YOU going react to your commercial?

Yes, you should be proud of your work and everything you do – seriously, shout if from the rooftops! But, are you in search of praise for your handiwork or hearing someone singing your jingle OR  are you looking for the sale – which is, of course, the whole reason you made the commercial in the first place.

What it boils down to is this – what are you hoping to gain from your ad campaign? Is it praise from your consumers, or are you looking for results?!?
