What We’re Thankful For…

by | Nov 18, 2020

Thankful wreathEven with all the chaos of 2020, there is so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. For all of us at Transformation Marketing, we’re not only thankful for things in our personal lives but for the work that we do and for the relationships we build with our coworkers and clients. With that being said, here is what each member of The Bean Team is most thankful for this year…

I am incredibly thankful for my amazing family and wonderfully full household. Things are massively crazy at times (most of the time, actually), but that’s totally OK with me! 2020 has shown us – and taught us – a LOT about what’s really important in this life, and gave our family a big chunk of time where we could just be together…considering that I’ll have one kid off to college next year, and the other off to college the year after that, all of those extra “2020 moments” mean so much more to me than I could have ever imagined.

I am thankful for everything and everyone that has gotten me to where I am today. My friends, family, and my husband have supported me through all of life’s challenges, and I could not have done it without them. I owe them so many thank yous (and money). I’m also grateful for my two cats, who put up with all the cuddles they never want!

I’m thankful for having amazing coworkers that are so kind, thoughtful, and such amazing people all around that I’m grateful to call them my second family. Everyone here works so diligently. It motivates me to work even harder. I feel truly blessed to have such an astounding job. I love going to work so much, I forget it’s even a job! And, I cannot forget my wonderful bosses that hired me, and how much they mean to me.

I have the time of my life designing things for our clients. Hearing them say they love what I made makes my heart flutter! I’m so thankful I get to share my talents with them and make their company look sparkling and fresh. I hope I get the opportunity to make all of our clients smile!

Every year, around this time, I am tasked with the question “What are you most thankful for?”. Truth is, this is a hard question to answer because every day I wake up, I have something new to be thankful for. The year 2020 has been a whirlwind of things happening left and right and it is easy to get caught up in the negatives. It might sound cliche, but I am most thankful for my family. They have been there to support me and help guide me along with my goals and ambitions. At the beginning of the year, I thought I had found my “dream job”. I was working on a cruise ship doing marketing, but that quickly turned into a nightmare when a pandemic swept the entire world and turned cruise liners into floating lockdowns. For the first half of the year, life was unstable, unpredictable and I wasn’t sure where I would end up. My family helped me along that whole process and kept showing me that there is a light at the end of every tunnel.

I am thankful for everything they did because now I am back in Nebraska (where things are much calmer) and I found an excellent company to work for. A company that welcomes everyone and truly understands that there is no “I” in team. I am thankful that I have great co-workers and bosses that push you to be the best every day. I am also thankful that we have amazing clients who want to make their businesses better every day. They are always open to trying new things and working with TM to find creative solutions to complex problems. It is such a great environment to be involved with.

I am thankful for all of that and more… Happy Holidays everyone.

I am thankful for my blessing of a husband who works hard and loves me well. I am thankful for my family even though they are far away. I am thankful for the friends I have in my life that care about me and I am thankful for an amazing God who guides me through life. I am also thankful for my sweet cat and the blessing of having a roof over my head and food on our table.

I am thankful for the amazing team I work with on a daily basis. It has been amazing working with each individual at Transformation Marketing and I feel so blessed to see their dedication and be encouraged by them each and every day. I am thankful for the work environment and I am thankful that as a team we are able to work with our clients to achieve the results they desire to see.

This year has really taught me to appreciate the little things and to be at ease in the present. Of course, I’m thankful for my family, a great job, good health, and a roof over my head. But as I think about my most recent days, I’m grateful for the small moments like enjoying a Friday night in, watching the sunrise during my morning commute, snuggling up with my dog after a long day, taking a walk in nature, and appreciating a bowl of my mom’s homemade soup. It’s the little moments like these that have made a rather unpredictable year much more enjoyable. While I’m ready to say goodbye to 2020, I’m thankful for the perspective it brought me to cherish the things that I may have once taken for granted!

Happy Thanksgiving to all my co-workers, clients, family, friends, and whoever else may be reading this! I hope you take the time to embrace the little moments of every day. You won’t be disappointed 🙂

These are always tough for me because I always feel like I’m coming off hokey and corny. BUT, I truly am thankful for our team. In a year of absolute uncertainty, TM has brought on 4 new people that have been the best additions we have had in years making our current team the best we’ve ever had. Being the only sales guy here, I’m usually “on an island” and don’t get the privilege of interacting much with our team, outside of hallway pleasantries, team lunches, and the occasional “hair on fire” emergencies. I do however get to talk with Shannon in the evening, and as we run down our events of the day and almost without exception, she gushes with excitement and enthusiasm about our team. How they work together, help each other, and the “extras” they do in going above and beyond for our clients. Seeing the excitement in her face as she lights up talking about everyone here, makes me extremely thankful for each and every person in this building.

Year after year I feel blessed to have an amazing family that shows me love and understanding day after day. Our house is filled with a lot of sarcasm and wit most days and I love that. They are caring and thoughtful kids as well. I look at them and wonder how I got so lucky. While my kids are nearing their entry into their own career paths, I am also thankful they have been in close view of Travis and I growing TM over the years. They have learned a lot and I am glad they have literally been with us from the beginning.

I am not going to make a specific call out to Travis because he may read this- I say this because it is so true. He is the greatest support and champion someone could ask for. I am proud to be his wife and count myself lucky to also work with him daily. He is wise in ways I am not and he compliments me perfectly.

Let’s face it, we spend a lot of our waking hours at work so having a great team to work with everyday tops my list of things I am thankful for. I look forward to going to work each day and seeing a great group of people that have amazing talent. I believe this is the best team I have worked with over the years and look forward to many more achievements with them.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Once again, Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Whether you’re a client, family member, or friend, Transformation Marketing is grateful for your constant business and support. We extend our best wishes to you for a happy and healthy holiday!
