Today, Transformation Marketing welcomes yet another phenomenal new addition to our growing and dynamic team: James Chramosta, our new Videographer and Production Editor! With his playful sense of humor and incredible work ethic and desire to grow in his skill set, James has very quickly found his place in our team. We are incredibly happy to have him and look forward to the amazing service he will be able to provide to our clients!
James shares a bit about himself:
I grew up in Kearney, Nebraska and attended the University of Nebraska – Kearney (UNK). I majored in Journalism – Mass Media, which is basically a catch-all for video, radio, and print. Some might say that makes me a “Jack of all trades and a master of none,” but I prefer to say I’m “eclectic and well rounded.”
While at UNK, I was recommended by a professor to work on a video project for National Geographic and the Audubon Society. To be honest, when I look back at this project, the quality is a little embarrassing, but that is one of the great traits of working in video. I have a record of my work, so I am able to look back at each project and see how I have progressed and changed.
The National Geographic project led me to work for a small production company in Kearney, called Blue Media. I worked as a videographer and editor for Blue Media during college and was then offered a full-time position after graduating in 2008. After working at Blue Media for six years, I started working as a freelancer and moved to Hickman, NE.
Working in video has allowed me experiences that I would not have had otherwise. I’ve traveled to both coasts and a few states in-between. I think it is interesting that cameras were created to capture moments in time and preserve memories, and for me, so many of my memories were created because of a camera.
I am now at Transformation Marketing. Even though I have only been here short amount of time, I feel that it is a great place to work. I don’t think I could ever work in an environment where I am known only by the nameplate hanging on my cubicle wall. At Transformation, I am not only known by name, but also by my personality and what I offer to the team. It is a real treat to work in this environment!
