We swept the TV Advertising Awards! In bowling, a “Turkey” is when you get 3 strikes in a row. Our creative team here at Transformation Marketing won 3 awards in the small business category at the Lincoln American Marketing Association Awards. Here’s a taste of our award-winning work.
First Strike
Our first TV spot was produced for Contemporary Woods. Contemporary Woods specializes in producing hand-made, no assembly required furniture for your home or office. In this video we decided to focus on the inconvenience that can come from assembling your own furniture.
The stress that comes from assembly required furniture is evident to mostly everyone. It is a time consuming process and in the end you may not even build it correctly. The ad shows a father and son who, after a long day on the job, build a table incorrectly. It collapses when dinner is served, leaving the family heartbroken. Why go through all that trouble when you can just buy a high quality table from Contemporary Woods?
Second Strike!
Our second commercial was produced for Contemporary Woods again. This time we helped them to get the word out that they were moving. What also happens when a business moves? They provide discounts!
Here we shot the video in the eyes of a furniture delivery man. He does not want to move everything from the old store to the new store, so the ad says that we can help him out. How? By buying some great furniture at an awesome price!
Completing the Sweep
Our last TV spot was for Liberty Arms, a gun store. A problem we ran into for this commercial was that we were not allowed to say the word “Gun” or show a gun on TV. So how do we shoot a commercial for a gun store without showing guns or saying the word gun? We simply censor it ourselves.
