Preston Nicholls – Through the Eyes of his Team

by | Dec 9, 2013 | All Blogs, Bean Team Insider

We think it’s important that we let you know about our team. We believe that getting to know us more will help you to understand why we are so passionate about what we do. However, we always tell you about ourselves from OUR point of view. Lately, we’ve been seeing how successful our team can be when we all work together on a project. Each one of us is invaluable to the other. So, we had a thought. What if we told you about each other? We had the team answer a few questions about each other in hopes that you’ll not only get a little more insight on us, but you’ll get insight on us through the eyes of someone else.

A few important notes: We are giving these to you in the order of who got me their questions about the rest of the team first. I tell you this, because I found it very interesting and I think it tells you a little more about each of us as well. Also, I promised the team I wouldn’t tell everyone who said what. So, you’ll have to use your imagination on that.

We didn’t require Preston to fill out a questionnaire since he’s only been with us a couple of months and as an intern, only works a couple of days a week, but we did, of course, want to include him in this fun blog series. (For those who don’t know, Preston is a graphic design intern at Transformation Marketing.) We consider our interns a part of the team. Our interns don’t get us coffee or file paperwork. They get right into the essence of what we do. Preston has done some absolutely amazing illustration work for us. We are incredibly impressed with his abilities and incredibly lucky to have him on our team.

Describe Preston in one word

  • Silent
  • Quiet
  • Focused
  • Quiet
  • Meticulous
  • Quiet
  • Comedic-sniper

What’s your favorite thing about Preston?

  • Uber talented with Illustrations.
  • His whimsical personality.
  • He’s a great office mate… keeps to himself and doesn’t bother me unless he needs something!
  • He’s easy going.
  • He is incredibly talented and always trying to better himself.
  • His deceptive quietness
  • Preston is a Ninja. You never see him. Never hear him. You don’t even sense him. Then all-the-sudden BAM! Graphic-marketing-awesomness! When you turn around to see where this brilliance came from… there’s nothing there.

What is your favorite memory of Preston?

  • Realizing that he did, in fact, possess the ability to speak.
  • Dan’s first day. That was the first time I really saw him open up, here.
  • Scaring him.
  • Going out to lunch for Dan’s first day–I think this is when I started to learn a little more about Preston!
  • Lunch with the team on my first day of work; he was the first to open up to me.
  • Going out to lunch as a team right after Dan started. It was the first time that Preston really opened up. It was awesome to learn more about him!

What was your first impression of Preston?

  • Preston started when I was on vacation so when I came back my first impression what that he was very quiet. I also saw that he was extremely focused!
  • He can probably do some serious technical work.
  • Reserved & quiet!
  • Quiet and around the age of 25.
  • Go-getter. I had him sit down to chat about the internship and right away he wanted to know what he could get started on.
  • Not sure. I didn’t even know he was in the office the first few days of his internship (due to his extreme quietness).

As I said, we really enjoy having Preston with us. We’re excited to have gotten to know him more these last couple of months. He has turned out to be quite funny and fits in very well (and puts up with our crazy antics when we rope him into them). Thank you, Preston, for all you do! It’s a pleasure having you here at Transformation Marketing!
