KYLE DUMP

I have been in the communications game since I was old enough to put fingers to a keyboard. Having grown up in a small-town newspaper family, I learned three things at a very early age: 1) Good communication is always clear and concise. 2) A deadline is a deadline is a deadline. And 3) You work until the job is done. At age 9 I was writing sports stories for my family’s newspaper. From ages 13 to 18 I was the editor of my school’s newspaper. And, at age 22 I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in Creative Writing.

After college I pursued communication in a variety of ways, moving to Los Angeles for a few years where I worked as a freelancer on several different projects and as the editor of a textbook publishing company. When my now wife and I decided we wanted to start a family, moving back to the midwest seemed like the best next step.

For the last two years, I have been working as a Community Outreach Specialist for the Lincoln TeamMates Program where I helped to develop and manage the program’s website and generated content that ranged from feature stories to ad copy. While with TeamMates I fell in love with my community and found a real passion for community service.

Back in the present, I am excited to bring my skills to Transformation Marketing. Having been raised by small-town entrepreneurs, I know how important it is for business owners to get their messages out to the world. I am grateful to be part of this organization and have found the Bean Team here at TM to be a real Dream Team.
